The Bank of England Is Considering Alexander McQueen as the Face of the New £20 Bill, Among Others

The Bank of England has just released a full list of British artists that are being considered as the face of a new £20 bank note. 30,000 British citizens submitted a total of 29,701 of their top favorite (deceased) visual artists who have "helped to shape British thought, innovation, leadership, values and society" in a public nomination to the Bank of England over a two-month period.
